The Regional Mentoring Programme was a project that targeted 12 young entrepreneurs and VSEs based in the internal regions of Tunisia. It lasted 5 months, from the end of June 2018 to the beginning of November 2018.
The aim of the programme was to strengthen the awareness and tools required to consider entrepreneurship as a career path and to equip potential entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, particularly in marginalized regions. Throughout the selection and implementation of the programme, special emphasis was placed on the promotion of women who encountered particular barriers in their entrepreneurial projects.
Key outcomes from the programme:
– 49% of participants were women-led startups
– 80% of participants increased their customer base throughout the programme
– 70% of participants expanded their teams after the programme
– 65% of participants increased their revenues after the programme
